As of June 1, 2025, Jeremiah’s Tree Service officially operates under the American Arborists name. The integration brings together four decades of Tahoe Basin arboriculture expertise with the resources, systems, and professional standards of one of Northern Nevada’s most established tree service companies.
What Happened and Why
Earlier this year, American Arborists and Jeremiah’s Tree Service entered an operational consolidation covering crews, office operations, and arborist services across the Truckee and Lake Tahoe region. The two organizations spent several months working side by side before formalizing the merger on June 1, 2026.
The decision to consolidate under the American Arborists name reflects a broader strategy to build a stronger, more capable tree service operation in the region. By combining Jeremiah’s deep local knowledge and 40-year customer base with American Arborists’ operational infrastructure and ISA Certified arboriculture standards, the merged organization is positioned to serve the Tahoe Basin at a higher level than either company could independently.
The integration was deliberate and gradual. Crews, arborists, and support staff worked together throughout the consolidation period to align standards, systems, and service delivery before the official transition took effect.
